DTF Transfer Installation Instructions

Materials Needed:

• DTF Transfer (provided by us)
• Heat Press Machine (or alternative heat source)
• T-shirt or garment for transfer
• Parchment Paper or Teflon Sheet (for protection)
• Lint Roller (for cleaning the fabric)
• Scissors (optional)

Step 1: Prepare the Garment

✅ Preheat your heat press to 280°F - 295°F (138°C - 146°C.).
✅ Clean the fabric of the garment by using a lint roller to remove any dust, lint, or debris.
✅ Position the garment on the heat press and press it for 3-5 seconds to remove any moisture and wrinkles.

Step 2: Position the DTF Transfer

✅ Position the DTF transfer (printed side down) onto the desired area of the garment.
✅ Ensure the transfer is centered and flat to avoid misalignment.
✅ Note: The printed side should be facing down on the fabric (the dull side is the adhesive side).

Step 3: Heat Press the Transfer

✅ Press the garment for 10-15 seconds at medium pressure.
✅ Tip: Do not over-press as it could cause distortion in the print or fabric.

Step 4: Cooling and Peeling

✅ After pressing, allow the transfer to cool for 3-5 seconds.
✅ Once cooled, peel the transfer film slowly and gently from one corner.
✅ The transfer should remain on the garment, leaving a smooth, vibrant print.

Step 5: Repress the Print (Optional)

✅ After peeling, repress the garment for 5 more seconds to ensure better adhesion and durability.
✅ Use parchment paper or a Teflon sheet again for protection during this second press.

Step 6: Care Instructions

✅ Allow the garment to cool completely before handling or washing.
✅ Washing: Turn the garment inside out, and wash in cold water on a gentle cycle.
✅ Drying: Air dry or tumble dry on low heat. Avoid high heat settings to preserve the print.

Important Tips:

• Always test on a sample garment first if you are unsure of the heat settings.
• Make sure your heat press is calibrated to the correct temperature and pressure settings.
• Do not use steam during the pressing process as it can interfere with the transfer.
